Good radiational cooling
was delayed until after 06z last night but eventually occurred, leading to a
low of 21F. Full sunshine led to a rapid warmup through early afternoon, with a
high of 47F so far, and it might overshoot expectations despite the snow cover
due to the delayed clouds. There has been at least 6 kt of wind so far, perhaps
due to the sunshine mixing down winds from aloft. Mostly cloudy skies tonight will
lead to less radiational cooling compared to last night. Partial sunshine
tomorrow will lead to slightly cooler temperatures than today, with some scattered
showers being possible. Light southeasterly winds are possible.
