After a mostly sunny day
today, southerly winds transporting low-level moisture along with
nighttime cooling will lead to low-level saturation and some low-level clouds
late in the night (close to sunrise), stopping radiational cooling, so it will
not be as cool as the last few nights. However, winds will not be that strong,
and brief pronounced dips are still likely before the clouds move in. As the
sun rises tomorrow, it will slowly heat up the low-levels, eventually
evaporating most of the clouds by early afternoon, leading to a partly to
mostly sunny afternoon, though some cirrus clouds will prevent full sunshine.
With continued southerly flow, it will get hot again but with slightly higher
humidity and clouds for the first half of the day limiting how hot it gets.
Models often struggle with how persisten the low clouds are, hence the model
disagreement on the high temperature. USL/NWS appears to be a good compromise though
the USL might be a bit warm for the low if there are any brief dips.
