Day 5 of Chicago, IL (KORD)

Hot and sunny for tomorrow, just like the past few days. Both highs and lows have been warmer than modeled (e.g. ~2F above USL every day) for the past few days, and with little change for tomorrow, I expect model biases to be similar, with very similar or very slightly warmer (like 1F) temperatures compared to today. Winds will be a little stronger than the past few days as pressure gradient is a bit stronger, and the south to south-southwesterly winds will be strong enough to prevent the lake breeze from coming in and cooling it off, unlike last week. The winds will likely be just strong enough to prevent ideal radiational cooling tonight, though that might not make much of a difference anyway given the urban heat island.
