Mostly clear skies (except
some thin high cirrus clouds) and calm wind will lead to good radiational
cooling tonight, like the past few nights, to a low likely below most model
guidance. Some mid-high level clouds tomorrow will filter out the sunshine
slightly, but a quick warmup is still expected given that the clouds don’t look
particularly thick, but perhaps not quite as fast of a warmup as the past few
days. Despite the slightly less daytime heating that would normally temper the
afternoon sea breeze a bit, a storm approaching Washington state will bring an
increased pressure gradient and westerly to southwesterly flow to the region,
and with any sea breeze enhancement, the winds could become mostly strong like
late last week.
