Completely
clear skies are expected for tonight and tomorrow. With clear skies, dry air,
and calm winds, perfect and rapid radiational cooling will occur tonight, with
temperatures dropping below model guidance. Full sunshine will then lead to a
rapid warmup above model guidance tomorrow (except HRRR and RAP which seem a
bit warm), with a light southerly wind developing in the afternoon, helped by mixing
of winds aloft down to the surface. The high temperature is a bit more
uncertain than usual for a sunny day due to an east to west temperature
gradient, perhaps separating downslope warming areas to the west and areas with
no downsloping (and an inversion aloft instead) to the east.
