Clear
skies and calm winds led to a decent cooldown initially, but a bit surprisingly
stopped later in the night, with a low of 41F. Sunny skies led to a very quick
warmup to a high of 73F, with a maximum wind of only 8 kt, with a continued
lack of pressure gradient. Mostly clear skies and light winds will lead to a
quick cooldown again tonight, although the higher dew points will lead to mist
or fog formation when it reaches 50F or below, dramatically slowing down any
cooldown then. Scattered low to mid-level clouds tomorrow will lead to a bit less
daytime heating, but with a warmer air mass aloft, surface temperatures will be
similar to or slightly warmer than today. With the storm remaining offshore, no
rain is expected, with still very little wind. That wraps up an incredibly quiet
and rain-free city!
