Winds calmed down just enough
for it to cool down to 50F last night. Southerly winds and sunshine have led to
a quick warmup, with a high of 79F so far, actually mysteriously a bit cooler
than expected. Some cirrus are moving in now and will probably prevent further
warm up. Maximum wind is 22 kt so far. Dry air and clear skies will lead to
decent cooling tonight, but moderate southerly winds will prevent ideal
radiational cooling. Instead of brief pronounced dips, the temperature will follow
a gradual, smooth curve downwards through the night, with the wind keeping it
warmer than most model guidance. With full sunshine again tomorrow, it will be
slightly warmer than today, with slightly stronger winds.
