Very quiet weather expected,
with basically no clouds for day 3. Light winds and clear skies will lead to
good radiational cooling tonight, and lots of sun will lead to a quick warm up
tomorrow, likely above model guidance as is typical for this time of year when there
is sun. I’m a bit surprised by how slowly it’s warming up today with sunny
skies though, so maybe it won’t overshoot too much tomorrow. The cold air mass
is still kind of in place today, but is quickly moving out and getting modified
and should not have any influence by daytime tomorrow. Winds will switch to
southerly and strengthen during the day tomorrow with daytime heating mixing
the stronger winds aloft down to the surface, but they will not be that strong,
and USL seems to have a bit of a high bias with wind in this city.
