A subtle front could bring a band of light
showers late tonight with clouds persisting most of tomorrow before clearing late
in the day. Clouds will prevent much radiational cooling tonight, though the
rain will cause evaporational cooling. The clearing tomorrow afternoon could
lead to a somewhat uncertain, quick last-minute warming, though limited by the
northeasterly winds leading to cold advection. Where exactly the narrow area of
thickest clouds occurs and how long they last will determine how much warming
takes place. Winds will not be very strong, and could be light enough to allow for
good radiational cooling tomorrow night, leading to the low perhaps being at
the end (Wednesday 06z), though KDSM seems to not radiate very well in most
situations.
