WxChallenge: Day 5 is almost a copycat of day 1 with very
quiet weather! Clear skies with very light winds (almost completely calm around
sunrise) will lead to decent radiational cooling tonight, albeit moderated by
the urban heat island effect and lack of topographic low-level cold pooling. Abundant
sunshine except a few high cirrus clouds and light southeasterly winds will
lead to a quick warmup to above-average temperatures tomorrow. Temperatures
have been going above model guidance lately during the daytime, and this tends
to happen especially from late winter into the spring, when the sun angle is
higher but there are no leaves on the trees yet to block the sun from reaching
the ground. I expect such a bias to occur again tomorrow.
