Day 2 of Atlanta, GA (KATL)

It cooled down to 41F last night, with cooling tempered by the urban heat island effect and lack of cold low-level pooling. It warmed up to 67F today so far (and it could still go up a bit more) with plenty of sunshine, with a maximum wind of 9 kt so far. Mid-level clouds and southeasterly winds increase tonight, leading to less radiational cooling. Tomorrow will be slightly warmer than today despite mid-high level clouds (though not overcast), due to the warmer air mass with slightly stronger winds than today. Humidity will also increase but it appears mostly or completely dry, though some models are showing some showers at the end (Thursday 06z).
