Fog
and low clouds formed earlier than expected last night, with a low of
28F before 06z, with the clouds thickening by 05z! Day 7 low will be at
06z tonight at this rate. Despite the earlier formation though, they
also dissipated earlier than yesterday due to the drier air advecting
from the northeast behind the weak cold front, as expected. Up to 52F
now with wind just got going at 10 kt maximum. With drier air and clear
skies now, temperatures will drop faster with little or no fog forming, a
stark change from earlier in the week. Full sunshine will also lead to a
quick warm up tomorrow, though with lighter winds, it might not fully
mix out the cold surface layer from morning.
