Low of 37F last night and high of 66F today. Seems like the secondary cold front was weaker and/or farther north than some of the high-resolution models had yesterday, leading to a warmer high today. Maximum wind was at least 10 kt, probably 11 kt, actually last night with the southwesterly flow. With the weak secondary cold front this evening and lightening winds tonight, there will be good radiational cooling tonight and with a low likely slightly lower than last night. Winds will then switch to weak southerly tomorrow with weak warm advection, and combined with full sunshine again, leading to a rapid warmup tomorrow to a similar high to today. The sunshine will mix down whatever weak wind there is aloft down to the surface. The weaker cool shot today might be a sign that models could be too cool for both the low (especially USL's low) and the high. On to a hopefully more interesting city 5 after being off for Thanksgiving next week!
