Winds
will be very light throughout day 5, but low to mid-level clouds will prevent
much cool down tonight, though there may be a few breaks early in the night. A
weak Alberta clipper will pass by to the south, far enough south such that Traverse
City will stay dry. It partially clears out later tomorrow into tomorrow night.
Combined with snow cover from yesterday and nearly calm winds, temperatures
will likely cool quickly tomorrow evening, likely lower than models (USL especially)
like day 4 as usually occurs at Traverse City in these setups, for a low close
to the end (Wednesday 06z). However, some lingering low-level lake-effect clouds,
whose coverage is somewhat uncertain, could temper the cool down somewhat. The
partial clearing will also lead to some daytime heating tomorrow.
